The South Point Hotel does not charge resort fees. The charge for triple and/or quad occupancy is $20.00 per night, over the quoted guest room rate. ID and credit card will be requested upon check-in. All persons, under the age of 21 years, will share a room with at least one adult chaperone, 21 years of age or older. If you are interested in blocking suites the following are the group rates:

The South Point Hotel is offering your attendees the option of the Executive Business Package at $20.00 per day. This includes daily internet and daily access into the fitness center (spa would be extra). Your group will be offered this upon check-in as well as when they make their reservations via our room reservation department.
All requests for rooms at the convention group rate must be received no later than June 1, 2012. It is understood all requests for rooms will be made on an individual basis. Guests may do so by calling our Reservations Department directly 866-791-7626 (toll free). In order to obtain your special group rate, the guests need to identify themselves as being with Gold Rush Peruvian Horse Classic.
The HOTEL requires a first night’s deposit of room and tax, per room, to guarantee individual reservations and the credit card will be charged. The HOTEL accepts all major credit cards for the deposit and the credit card will be charged for the stipulated room and tax. Guaranteed reservations will be held until 6:00 AM on the following date.
INDIVIDUAL CANCELLATION POLICY
Individual cancellations inside 72 hours of arrival shall forfeit any room deposit (if applicable), or be billed for one night’s room and tax. In addition, one night’s room and tax will be billed for any guest who fails to check-in on the scheduled arrival date. South Point Hotel & CasinoSouth Point Hotel and Casino opened in December 2005; it is located south of the famed Las Vegas Strip at Las Vegas Blvd. and Silverado Ranch Blvd. The world class Equestrian Center, which opened in February of 2006, is complete with a 4,400 seat arena, 1200 stalls, a full service bar, which includes tables on three levels for easy viewing of the arena, a veterinary clinic, a farrier center and a feed store. The room rates at South Point are very reasonable, particularly for the luxury guests enjoy: Spacious rooms, flat panel televisions, high speed internet, luxuriously comfortable beds and even a television channel dedicated to the equestrian arena’s activities. The overwhelming response to the announcement of the Gold Rush Classic XI going to this fabulous facility has owners and breeders anticipating this event will be the show of shows for 2011.
